Pigs in blankets sausage rolls

Ingredients

  • 6 Sausages
  • 6 Slices of Bacon
  • 320g Puff Pastry Sheet
  • 12 tsp Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 Egg

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Slice the sausages and bacon in half lengthwise. Wrap each sausage half with half a rasher of bacon.
  • Roll out the pastry, leaving enough space for two rows of six sausages.
  • Place a small teaspoon of cranberry sauce under each sausage, then wrap it in the pastry.
  • Brush the pastry with egg wash and bake for 30 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Serve alongside mashed potatoes, your choice of vegetables, and gravy.
